LOTR:3rd Age

anyone plan on picking this up?
i have never really gotten into Role Playing games, but since i'm a huge lotr fan; (like most of us here), I'll probably have to take a look at it.

I'm seriously considering it.

The problem, though, is that there are just too many games coming out at the same time for me to keep up with.

I am interested in the game, though... maybe if I win the lottery... or start turning more tricks. (just kidding)

I'm probaly gonna give it a rent sooner or later.

Like Pete said there are soo many great games out and comin, that it's not exactly on the top of my gamin list at this moment.

I'm definately wishing for it (and the GBA version too) for Christmas. I really enjoy RPGs; though I have yet to play one on the PS2. It sure looks awesome from the videos I've seen.

After spending a couple of hours with the game (I caved in and bought the XBox version-- along with OutRun 2), my opinion of it is generally positive. The presentation is strong... complete with excerpts from the movie OSTs and new narration from Sir Ian McKellen (and other pretty strong VO work).

The game is a little on the easy side so far, with level advancement being pretty quick. There haven't been any really taxing battles yet, but I'm only just now entering Moria (2nd Chapter).

There are worse things that I could have spent $50 on... that's for sure.
