Damn, that's ridiculous. I don't own a gamecube but I can see that it would have been a pretty good looking game. I'll have to take it on faith that it'd have good gameplay also as there seem to be so many Chrono fans in these forums.
Could they not make it multiplatform to appease Square-Enix?

this game was suppose to be on the PC. it really had nothing to do with nintendo. its just that planetgamecube kept an eye on the project because they are huge chrono trigger fans and they had alot of faith on the project.

Since posting is slow I saw this awhile ago and wanted to say something.....
That really sucks. They better have something unbelievable coming out for Chrono to have made them back out of the project. I loved Chrono Trigger and it stays in my memories with FF3, Legend of Zelda:Link to the Past, and Super Metroid as the best times of gaming that I ever remember on my Super NES...(1 player games that is..TNMT:Turtles in Time takes the #1 two player spot.) But back to the subject, that trailer look gorgeous and very faithful to the original...you can tell they were fans of the original. Square/Enix has let the property sit for so long now and they take the legs from under what looked to be shaping up as maybe another classic. SHAME!!!!! I'm still awaiting a Chrono Trigger for my SP. |
