New Fallout Game!!

Interplay are finally coming out with a new Fallout game (Fallout 2 is one of my all-time favourite games), but sadly this new game won't actually be an RPG. Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (for PlayStation 2 & Xbox) is a 'cooperative action game' using the same engine as Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and is set shortly after the first Fallout title. It could still be pretty good though.
Regardless, if it sells well enough then Interplay might decide to make a proper Fallout 3, so I urge you all to go and buy it when it arrives at the end of year. If you want to check it out then there's a preview of sorts here, or you could go straight to the screens here.

i dont know why but i was expecting a first person shooter with rpg features. (think deus ex)

Aye, I would have expected a similar thing in this kind of situation, but apparently that's not the case. Abandoning the RPG element to move into a more common style of game seems like a strange choice. But I don't mind, it'll be nice to play a new Fallout game, even if it's not a proper one..
