Default Final Fantasy VII Again

I already beat this game twice years ago and now I'm playing through my Greatest Hits copy with the help of Mr. Game Shark (please no lectures on cheating) and I love it. The story is still amazing and the musical score is just sweet (not as good as FFVIII's but still cool). All of my characters are already at LV. 99 and I have so much Gil I can buy 99 of every Materia. The cinemas are still great to watch and I can't wait to reach the end of the first disc. With my maxed out levels i wonder how long it will take me. I'm at Junon Harbor right now with Cloud in a Shinra uniform.

I'm playing through the game right now again and it's bringing up great old memories. Probably the best RPG game I ever played.

The cards were my favorite part of the game. I'm playing through FFVII again too. I'm up to the part where you go to Nebelheim

I just got Cid in my party and I'm nearly off the first disc. This game is still one of my all-time fav RPGs.

Great game, easily my favourite FF. I would have played FFVII again but two of the discs don't work any more. I do have an idea on how to remedy the problem but haven't given it a try yet, mainly because I'm playing through VIII again right now. When I've finished it I think I'm going to try and get VII up and running again though...

I got to go on a date with Tifa this time instead of Aeris. I never did that before. Guess it was because I had her in my party a lot. Anyway, I'm on my way to the Temple of Ancients and Aeris is about to get croaked! I can hear Tifa now:

Tife: Oh no! Aeris got killed! This is awful... terrible...!!
(Ha! Take that you flower selling-tramp! Cloud is MINE now!)

Aeris' death was a great bit, very well done.

Reggie, as I understand it the date bit (in Gold Saucer, yes?) is based on how you treat Aeris and Tifa in the dialogue choices through the game. Whichever one you're nicer to is the one who goes with you. If you're mean to both of them then you go around with Barret
It's like the bit with Don Corneo, where he can choose either Aeris, Tifa or Cloud to be his bedroom buddy. Man that game had some excellent moments...
