What is wrong with the word "homies"

I mean that's the way I talk to my friends, I don't know why this guy arnold got upset just because i said the word "homies", i mean, doesn't he know what it means, it means buddies, friends,
i don't know why he got upset, he just locked my thread a few minutes ago, I read the forum rules , and i think I did not break any of them, oh well every mind is a totally different world,
so I see you later ......, can i say the word "guys":P
