I personally liked Raiden a lot. He wasn't as great as Solid Snake but I like the guy. He had a great personality. I would like to see him back in MGS3.

I liked Raiden, but i agree that Rose was the most annoying person in the game, apart from when the colonel was being wreaked by GW.
And to all those people who want Snake, it's the whole point of Snake Tales in Substance. Du'h |

Uhh, Rose was purposely annoying. She was a damned bot. She was A.I.

Rose wasnt AI, well in the game, you see her at the end with Raiden. Unless you meant really, because she is really AI because it is a game but in the game she was real. I'm hoping this makes sense.

But honest, was that one of the biggest gaming shocks ever or what? It was like, every reviewer distinctly made sure not to let that one slip out. So, you're playing through the tanker mission, finish things up, and BOOM! You see this other guy in a sneaking suit with a different voice. I literally had tons of questions racing through my head. One of the most exciting turn of events in my gaming career for sure.

That's the advantage of buying games LONG after they come out (besides paying less) - there are no surprises anymore...
(I have to tell myself there are advantages - don't burst my bubble) ![]()

yeh, I generally like to wait too but there are some games I would fork over the $50 on launch for- the MGS & Gran Turismo series are two of them ...
