yeah....it's an old game.

But I just bought it at Blockbuster the other day, for 15 bucks!!

I had never played this game before, but heard tons about it....and after owning it for a few days...I am gonna go out on a limb and say this.

BEST FIGHTING GAME EVER!

Don't get me wrong, I love Tekken..and all it's sequels...I owned it for awhile....but after about 3 months of owning it...I just got pissed as all hell at the tekken force mode...(which was the only thing left that I hadn't beaten the complete shit out of.)

Capcom Vs. SNK2 is so freaking cool...a HUGE amount of playable characters...including some from Samurai Showdown...HUGE SURPRISE BY THE WAY.....I had no idea they were in it...

I love this game...SO MUCH.

Ryo - I always liked him...even though he is just a carbon copy of ryu and ken...he's a good one.

Chun Li - She's improved SO MUCH for this game....
Morrigan - She's a vampire!! Although I am dissapointed that she is the only darkstalker to make an appearance...I would've liked to have seen the werewolf dude in it...
Cammy - She's always been my best female character since she made an appearance.....(replacing chun li as my favorite.)

Morrigan's not the only Darkstalker in the game. She's just the only playable one; check the one of the stages' backgrounds for cameos, like Hsien Ko (the chinese ghost girl). I forget which stage I've seen them on. Anyways, I'm just disappointed with what they DIDN'T do for Morrigan, more specifically her sprites. Omg, almost everyone was made with new sprites, but not one of Capcom's sexiest females ever. No sir, she's been a bad girl; she doesn't deserve it. She looks so out of place with the rest of the graphics. But that's not what's important, is it? I like using Kyosuke from Rival Schools or Kyo from KOF, Chun Li, and the rest are usually SNK chicks, such as King, Athena, and everyone's favorite ninja with the big jubblies.

Is this a bit like Tekken Tag? ie you have more than one character to play as per bout?

I think there is a new Capcom (SF) game out in the near future. Is it going to be simiar to this or back to the old SF roots?

Capcom Vs SNK 2 is like the old games; well SF Alpha series anyways. The gameplay is nothing like MvC 1 and 2. And there is no tagging in CvS; you change characters when your current fighter is KOed, like the King of Fighters series.

I did notice that Morrigan doesn't look that great compared to the rest.....I don't understand why she looks like that.

Kyosuke ANNOYS ME MAN.....If i am using Ken or Ryu...she just WALLOPS ON ME.....I have to use Sagat to beat her.

King has always been one of my favorite fighters...she's really fast.

However I found a new favorite female fighter....Hibiki. She fights like Ukyo!!! She is so badass....he super combos are intensely BADASS....and Ukyo was always one of my favorite samurai showdown characters....I was so dissapointed that he didn't make it...but she is a pretty good replacement.

Kyo surprised the hell out of me as well...I never played as him before....but he is a good fighter.

I bought it last year for the Xbox. Played it online for about a month. I really liked it, I love 2d fighting games. I can't wait untill Guilty Gear Online comes out for the Xbox in a few months.
