I heard about that but I'm not too sure on Everquest. However, I do plan to buy Final Fantasy XI and Arc The Lad Online though. I may see if one of my friends has it because I never played an Everquest.

I don't think FF XI will be that stellar of a game. Too much like Everquest for me. Final Fantasy should have never been moved into the MMORPG scene.

It might be fun to see what the PS2 HDD has to offer though.

FF XI will be awesome IF IT EVER GETS HERE. Heck at the rate they are movin we will have FF XII before FF XI. As far as Everquest goes i hate all Everquest games with a passion i saw it being played once and that is all it took. All i saw was a stick swinging across the screen and i was like WTF is that and walked away.

well it is a MMORPG so its not really a game foreveryone.

im pissed at square right now. they sent me a beta application for FFXI but i havent got anything yet. DAMN YOU!!!!!!! i dont think i got picked....

Well Kupo atleast you sent yours in. I just checked my email which i haven't checked for about a month and WHAT DO YOU KNOW i had a form for the Beta but i am A MONTH TOO LATE. wned: wned: :STFU: I am pissed at myself i used to check that email everyday and i stop for a few weeks and o well. I probly wouldn't have been picked n e way.

is EB still EB in the States?



its called GAME over here in the UK, from what I gather EB brought out GAME..
I know that EB didnt have a great name in games in the UK, so I take it thats why they are called GAME now.

I must admit, the online shop is very good and cheap, but the prices differ from when you go in the shop! very bad....

I happen to agree on that. I go to my EB in town and their always charging more than their website. I can remember going there looking for Ico a few months ago when EBgames.com had it for $14.99. I went there and it was $29.99. Luckily, my EB doesn't do that as much anymore.

yeah, I brought 'No one lives forever' on the PC last year... online it was £10 yet in store it was £19.99.

so I meandered over to the counter and mentioned it to them, and they just weren't interested..

but I have to admit that EB/Game have gotten better since they merged, though no offence to AK (if he still works there) but most of the people that work in EB (in my area) are tossers who have absolutely no idea on gaming... to the point when some spotty kid was telling me that the 'Freeloader' disk wasn't coming out and that the GC only have the Resi Evil games and that I should buy a GC because its the best console ever....

so I burped at him, went home... received my freeloader through the post and watched Resi Evil online demo that came free with a magazine...
