I found this site via a search engine and decided to come on to this site looking for some hints to a newly purchased game for my PS2 and was impressed. However, I was curious as to why no one has reviewed the new Dark Alliance 2 game. It was one of the newly purchased games for my X-box (I have too many gaming consoles) and I have to say that you can definitely tell that this game is a Hasbro. It is not a long enough game, it is basically no challenge, and I wish I had started it out on hard instead of normal because I only died 5 times playing this game. The cartoonish look of the beginning scenes are atrocious, the character look nothing like the originals, and in this game, I could hack and slash the ghouls, frog men, trolls and even the bosses with no problem. WHAT HAPPENED! I used to really tick my fiancée off when I played this game because honestly I was a bit obsessed with it, so she was very pouty when I purchased the latest installment, only to be pleased that I had finished it in a paltry 15 hours or less. I hope Champions of Norrath does not disappoint. I wasted money and time with this game, and I am thankful that I have yet to finish The Elder Scrolls even with the cheesy outdated graphics.

I apologize for the tangent on my first post. So, how is everyone? Any news on release dates for Riddick or the R. A. Salvatore project?

first game was class (we are alking about B.Gate?).. at the time, loved it.. and will buy the 2nd when its out on PS2 (uk). the end of the first game was great, its was a real "ohh shit, what have we done?" kind of moment, ensuring that the next game will be a completion of the first games story... but that was 2 years ago. I hope I can get in to it again, I may have to play the first again.

as for the games you have asked for release dates.. are they Xbox games? theres a few people here who have Xbox's.. im sure they will know something.

Thanks for the welcome.

I am sorry to say that I think you will be a tad disappointed like I was with the new Balder's Gate. Same format, same game play, but less of a challenge. I got it for my XBox because the graphics were better.

The Forgotten Realms and Riddick will be available for PS2 and Xbox, and I hope they kick some butt. I just wanna know when they will be out on shelves, Game Informer never gave a date.

phew....i'm glad the guy at EB didn't talk me into getting dark alliance 2.....and I got NFL Street instead.

BG2A is on my to get list but then so are about 15 other titles so I don't think it'll be on my shelf in the near future.

I'm considering Champions of Norrath as well, but I think I'll pass, because I'll be too busy for my own good if I get both.
