im wondering if the specs they release will be kinda true... but I wonder if they will hold back on some of the figures?

it would be wise to do so imo.

M$ will just try to double their specs and thus, it all starts again.


I also just want to see some plans on what it could look like.. remember the plans of all the PS2's? I really like the silver one with the four ports and the lil LED screen on top, that was sweet.

Didn't anyone tell you not to listen to rumours? PS3 will not be network-only, for the simple reason that such a thing would be utterly stupid. So please, forget it...

And I would be very surprised to see any solid PS3 details at this time - PS2 hasn't reached its highpoint yet, and there is loads more to come from it!

I agreed with what you said m8, but the console life is only about 4 years... so its bang on time.

and if you need another reason why it should come out in 18months instead of 24.... in 24 months the new Xbox will be out, and Sony have stated that they will at all cost bring out the PS3 before the XboxNext.

anyway, 18 months ago they turned the PS2 in to a single chip... so if anyone has done their homework... its Sony.


it should be cool.

that sucks though, Sony hasn't even come out with the hard
disk drive for the ps2 yet, and everybody is talking about
ps3. I guess every body will be playing socom with the same maps.

Hey, it took Sony too long to come out with ps2online. But they will maintain it well and add some good games. The main thing is when the ps3 gets moving to have the online part compatible with what ps2 is using. The best way to piss people off is to continually change your hardware, just ask Sega...
