If you FIND it for the Cube BUY IT ASAP!!! No more than 5,000 of the game were produced. Shipment of the GC version was cancelled 3 days after the game shipped!!

What??? Why did they produce so few copies??? Man, I may just settle for the PS2 version, which is the only one I've seen thus far.

Correction...the number is 500, not 5000. The game was cancelled, but a few copies managed to ship with the PS2.

Cheers Arnold, this was one of the few games that was pulling me towards getting an X-Box. I would have been seriously pissed if I'd stretched my bank balance then found out how flawed it is.

I'll stick with my PS2 (GT3&NfS:HP2)

I just got the new OXM Demo Disk in the mail today and there was a demo to Apex. I will say that is probably the demo with the most stuff on it that I ever seen. I could still play a bunch of the modes and they let me play four courses.

Anyway, Snake was right about the hitting the walls. I would slow down significantly just for hitting one. I'd also slow down way too much just for driving on grass. The game does have several technical problems. But, I do have to say that Apex had excellent backgrounds and great looking cars. I even liked the sense of speed a lot. I'd rate the game an 8/10 by my first demo impressions.

You kind of really like when you FIRST play it...but get accustomed to it and you'll hate it.

No other racer matters next to Gran Turismo. And when GT4 comes out. No racer will ever matter.

That's why I purchased GT3 as my free game from Target because I knew it was the best.

I'll see whether I like Apex the next time I play Xbox. I may like it still because I even liked Flag to Flag Racing on DC.
