merry christmas all, just a quick queston here about component video cables.
i got a sony trinitron 32" flat screen for x-mas, this is my first set to have component video and s-video inputs... currently i've got my PS2 hooked into it's regular single video RCA input, and my satellite box into s-video. upon shopping around for component cables for ps2, i've encountered several at many different prices, mainly, these things are made my mad catz, monster cable, and SCEA, just wondering if anyone has tried any of the above what they think of the picture, and which would provide the best picture and best value? thanks all, robyn |

if you have the money for Monster, then definitely go for it. I hear they are amazing for quality.
if not, try to get a respectible company... Meaning 'not mad cats' |

Monster Cables are a waste of money. You won't be able to tell the difference. The average person can't tell the difference between S-video and component, especially if it's not progressive scan, which most PS2 games are not.
