I've been considering renting Burnout 2 next time I go to Blockbuster. I like racing games and my PS2 doesn't have one.

lol, I have indeed brought Burnout 2

and I dont regret it for one moment.

I do love NFS, and I played the demo and it was crisp. but BO2 is just so...I dunno... wrong! its bloody great.

my fav mode is 'crash' hours upon hours or causing pile ups, you gotta love it...

oh yeh and the racing is good too

I guess it goes to show you that everyone is different. When I rented Burnout 2 I was expecting to like it. Actually I was expecting to really like it. But it just didn't ever click with me. Now I admit that at the beginning of NFS 2 it was kinda boring, but once I started unlocking cars I just couldn't put the controller down. And once I unlocked the McLaren F1 it was all over. I was an all out crazy person. The sense of speed with that car was just unbelievable! Sorry... in my mind BO2 isn't even in the same league.

McLaren F1?? cool!

Hmmm, I may pick it up at some point. I think the thing I love about BO2 is that in my mind its the closest to OutRun that you can have.. but saying that I guess so is NFS...

both very cool... but will they stand up to Midnight Club 2?

Yeah! And last night I just unlocked the Need for Speed edition of the McLaren F1. EVEN BETTER! Its completely gorgeous! If you ever get the game its the car that is unlocked when you acquired 400,000 nfs points.
