gamecube sell a disc in england where you put that in and then take it out and put the imported game in and thats it you play imported (i think still in original language "mom" or "mum" or it might be in japanease)
the cost is about £20 (i think) and is a lot more simple then opening up your console and probably cheaper too.
but you do need a t.v that can play 60h/z so any t.v which is 5 years or younger should be able to do it at the same style as a usa t.v or japan t.v

mod chip should be illegal. Mod chips are total rip off! I tried modding my xbox with perfect solder point connected, and the chip didn't even work! It's like the company fools you into buying it, but they rip you off just so they get the money.
