Manhunt is quietly pulling a GTA3 trick!

I mean think about it. GTA 3 was the same way, it fell under the radar. It wasn't extremely hyped. Then it got released and starting something amazing. Manhunt could do the same.

either that or it's been hyped up, way above what the game can deliver so they are trying to sneak it out.

I prefer your idea though.

Maybe they don't want a media frenzy like there was with the GTA games after release.

its been hyped in a 'if you read the mags, post on forums' kinda way, and unlike GTA its only us that really know that its going to be fkg violent.

but IF it gets released, then the press will pick up on it by day one. I think RockStar have learnt their lesson in violent games, in that sort of hype by the press is good, once its released. No point creating that sort of attention now as Manhunt may never get a certificate.
RockStar is now known for its violent over 18 games, so the hype that comes with this will be welcome as soon as it hits the stores.

anyway, I know it will be good.. but I also know that its not that amazing either. on a play test I was reading, they were disappointed with the end kills... you don't see everything, its quite linear and not what you think its going to be. I think a lot of people are thinking GTA... when they should be thinking 'new game'... like when state of Emergency came out.

I too really want this game, it should be out by the 21st of Nov... fingers crossed.

I just wanna kill someone with a plastic bag....... in the game that is...

Japan will probably get it 2007...

I feel sorry for them.. Even Xbox'ers will get a chance to play Vice City before the Japanese...
