Default Prince Of Persia is the bomb!

Man this game is amazing, IMO this gets PS2 goty so far. Amazing game, possibly the best controls on the PS2 right now. I'm only about an hour into it, but it is amazing.

I'll be getting it for the Xbox, because it may contain both Pop1 and Pop2... And because it's slightly better. I don't mind waiting a week anyway.

But yes, I'm completely pumped for this game. I haven't played a good adventure game since ICO, and this one seems to have a pretty unanimous praise from gaming journalists. One of the two games I'm picking up this fall (I still don't know what the other will be, however).

I bought the PS2 version cause I couldn't wait. Plus IMO the PS2 controller is superior to all. Plus the old games being included isn't really a big thing for me. Ive got them now.

I happen to like the Controller S a little bit more, so there (even though I know that the DS2 is the most versatile of the two).

Nah, it's just that my brother's SOCOM2 save game has also filled my memory card. And neither of us has the cash to buy a second one... and yatta yatta... HDDs rule for save files.

But seriously, I am stoked. I haven't played a satisfying non-RPG game in some time (though that was partially out of choice of playing old RPGs I hadn't bothered with and nothing else), so yeah, I'm quite anticipating this next week. There's also the fact that I recall playing PoP and liking it, but not much more, so maybe replaying it will refresh my memory.

The combat in this game is awesome, IMO it blows Devil May Cry and Castlevania away.
