It would seem that the US will not be getting Broken Sword 3.

Prduction has ceased because Sony America did not clear the software (whatever that means ).

The Euro version is still scheduled for release at the end of November.

what was that game... dragon slayer.. or dungeon slayer or something? I remember it being quite famous years ago.


anyway, last month in PSW on the rolling preview disk that they do (UK PSW)...on the B-side was the full playable game.


I had never played it before, it was weird, you had to press the button at certain times and the story happened.....


bizarre.

anyway, thought I would share that information with you..... tho I cant remember the name, but in the end you had to get the sword and free the princess.... all cartoon cg, interesting piece of gaming history though.


maybe it was called ......Spatula and his amazing atmospheric compass.... um, no...maybe not..

I bought the mag because of that free game!

I can honestly say that it is one of the most difficult games I've ever played.

geeeez, you're telling me!!


I tried, I tried again, I got confused.. I went back to the menu several times (not on purpose).. I tried again.. I even got inside the damn castle! I died.

then I clicked on the watch button.. and its quite long for a game of that type.. everyone told me that it was a short game, but after you do the same bit in slightly different ways three times over, its a good fifteen mins ...which is long! as unless you were a master you could never ever do it that quick.

it was pretty cool......


was it popular in the States? will they be as gutted as I know many UK-iens (haha new word).. would be if it was cancelled here?

What I should have said is it's cancelled for PS2.

It will still be released on PC. Not the same though is it? Playing on PC rather than PS...

no, ur right...... PC is a whole different world......


our engineer who comes and fixes my machines at work is a PChead, he has his own Quake clan.....


he some times uses my pc to check up on his forum, and he has left it on before.. as its closed off to the public so I cant enter it cold.. if you see what I mean.

and they are aliens....

I know that the chatter with people online with PS2 games is probably the same, but reading it all, its all just madness.....
