So don't put your keys in the same pocket as your PSP.
Besides i'm sure they'll either have a nice cuishioned carrying case, or a screen cover. I will definately be buying one of those babies..... ![]()

It's look cool and all, it's just that i hope they make some kind of protection for the screan, especially with the way it's popping out or at least looks like it's popping out on the picture.

Wow. ****ing wow!
And, I don't care if they are copying Nintendo, the PSP looks extremely cool. Seriously, asthetically it exceeded what I believed it would look like. Very ergonomic and sleek design, and I especially like how the buttons aren't protruding. Nice. How cool would it be to watch your favorite movies on that? I changed my mind about the price; I'd gladly pay around $150 for it considering all it can do with the added bonus of looking that damn cool. I wonder how many colors it will come in? Nintendo has to counter this now that they've no doubt seen it.

I'd prefer the flip style similar to the GBA SP with joystick(s) that can be pushed into itself when closing. A simple lock switch could keep them stationary when playing and when you wanted to close it you could do so. I understand this may eventually pose a problem in the durability, so that may be out of the question. I'd just personally like a slightly altered version of the SP with joystick(s).
However, I must say, I'm impresed with this model; it's very sleek. I'm sure whatever Sony decides on will be great.

Those buttons...I don't know why people are making them out to be a problem. They will in no way be annoying or painful to press. If they were, Sony wouldn't have used them. The tips of your fingers aren't flat, you know? The buttons are the last thing anyone should be worrying about.
There is an analog stick too...it's just that...it's not a stick. It's more of touch sensitive cursor. Also, there will be shoulder buttons. |

im 100% in favour of a closed screen, but to be fair, we havent had that since game&watch.... (til the sp), so if Sony does decide to release this concept as the real deal, then maybe its gonna be ok...
no one carried keys and coins in their pockets with their NGP or GB's, GBC's, GBA's let alone your wonderswan or your GP32's.... as for shoulder buttons, the picture doesnt show us that side of the console, so maybe there are buttons that we cant see? anyway, looks sweet... I hope that they have a slide on/off cover.. it looks the right shape for it.

My bad for posting another thread about this, I didn't see this one...
This thing looks killer. Sleek buttons, and the x, triangle, square, and o buttons look like the ones on the new iPod (maybe touch sensitive, who knows?) About the analogue being touch sensitive, unless Sony has perfected that, I don't think I'd like the feel of it. Those touch pads are a little tricky, and don't always pick up your finger movements (think of iPod or a laptop mouse pad). No Dillon, I don't see Sony anywhere, but it's from the annual Sony Corporate Strategy Meeting held in New York, it's real. (A real concept at least)
