There should be more of them.
![]() I remember playing a bunch of COOP games in the 8bit and especially 16 bit games (Secret of Mana comes to mind ), and there are a few great coop games for now (Halo, Contra:SS ) - but still, I don't get why COOP isn't a gameplay mode that's available in more games.Playing Halo and Contra:SS with my brother just reminded me how much more fun it is when you get to scream at the other person to avoid explosions that they are not seeing. Going back to their single player modes bring absolutely no thrill (I don't play Contra alone anymore, while Halo has a full screen in 1 player, so it has advantages over coop ).Are there any games, besides FF:CC for the GC and Halo 2 that would have coop? Games you've played in the past without the option that you would like to see remade with a coop option? IMO, COOP is one of the few things that make gaming great. |

Yeah, forgot about TM:B. Awesome indeed.
And by coop I mean games that are typically not coop usually. SOCOM was "coop" in a sense, of course, but didn't stray much from the concept already established in online gaming. Yawn. (I permit myself to say Yawn even though I didn't try socom online, because I know the concept, and I played it thousands of times already without being entertained) I'm talking about coop in a variety of games, whether it's RPGs (heck, I finished FF2 AND FF3 for the first time playing with another friend with 2 controllers), or anything uncommon. |

I know what you mean Burns. The SOCOM bit was just a bit of a jesting.
But yes, I do wish brawlers would come back in a major way. Double Dragon especially. It just had much more strategy than most did back in the day.

Saltine : I said great, not good.
Hopefully those rumors about a new River City Ransom are true. That was such a kick ass game, with my favourite game lines ever such as "Gary : ' BARF!'". |
