Question Racing Games and Steering Wheels

How many of you use steering wheels for racing games? I had an MC2 (Mad Catz) racing wheel for the PSone, and I could never get it to work well with any racing games (I've never owned any Gran Turismo title, so I don't know how well it worked with those games).

I see now they have an MC2 racing wheel for PS2, PSone and XBOX (one wheel is supposedly compatible with all three systems). On the exterior, it is IDENTICAL to the one I had for PSone. Anyone know if it works better with racing games?

Everyone tells me all you have to do is look for the 'racing wheel compatible' symbol on the back of the game, next to the 'analog' and 'vibration function' symbols, but I've NEVER seen any game with this symbol...

I can't imagine that the Gran Turismo games (especially GT3 - Aspec and the coming GT4) would NOT be compatible with wheels, but I just don't know for sure.

Assuming the wheels ARE compatible with the GT series, I have another question: What is the arcade mode of GT like? Is it comparable to Need for Speed? Test Drive?

Thanks.

arcade mode is pretty much like sim mode. you race AI and gain access to more and more tracks for 2 player mode. and you can play time trial.

It's just like the wheel you have in your car.

900-degrees of motion. O_o

If you tell me that that GT force feedback wheel with 900 degrees rotation also has gas and break pedals...and possibly a clutch (god that would RAWK) that would mean that i am, in fact, in love with logitech.

Sorry to burst your bubble Voice, but I don't think it has a clutch , just an up-down shifter.....oh well, that wheel is freakin amazing nonetheless. I might have to get it....but I still have the GT Force wheel from when GT3 came out.
