I've bought, over the years, the following consoles. The ones that I regretted buying will be bolded.
GameBoy NES PSX Dreamcast Ps2 GBA Xbox There are none bolded because I let others buy the crappy Lynx, 3D0, or TG16.  |

I see no one has mention the 3DO or Jag........
my mate had the Amiga 32x or what ever it was called, terrible thing.. but I cant remember if it was the Amiga or the Jag, but the stickers on the controll pad would slide off when things got a bit warm... piss poor design, but made up for it in laughing at the console for many years..

GameCube - As I've often said, I love this system. Seriously cool. SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis - A superb console, at a time when Sega knew what they were doing and the Sonic games were classics. N64 - A great system. Home to the greatest console FPS ever, one of the greatest multiplayer games ever, the greatest series of wrestling games ever and one of the greatest 3D platformer's ever, as well as a whole host of Nintendo goodness. Disappointed: Playstation 2 - What's to like? FFX was really weak compared to it's predecessors, the console boasts GTA and MGS as two of it's greatest games (two series which I've never been a big fan of) and I can think of nothing else that's made me like it. A near total waste of money. None of my other consoles make me proud or disappointed, either because they were fine systems but not exactly mind-blowing (SNES, Sega Master System, Playstation, Dreamcast, GBC), or simply because I'm only just getting to grips with them (X-Box). |

 On that note, I almost forgot about my Sega Saturn! Definitely not disappointed in that. The Saturn kicked ass! |

Ahem, I don't mean to complain (
) Snake but it's 'Macho Man' now, not 'Macho_Man'. And regardless of the risk to my own good I'm going to have to say I was completely honest in that post. Pretty honest, anyway..I never got a Saturn, I was taken in by all the 'Saturn sucks' propagnada that was doing the rounds back then and skipped it. Considering it came after the Mega CD and 32X add-ons for the Genesis I was already sceptical about Sega, so it didn't take much to dissuade me. The one Saturn gamer I knew though was really pleased with the system. Oh, and Dillon: Quote:

NES It doesn't work anymore either 3. Atari Lynx No good games, low battery life 4. Sega 32X because it's a bitch to get working and not worth getting working in the first place 5. Sega Netlink It's kinda like a system. Never even played anyone on it before. |
