we have the same kinda mall goths here! most of them rock at DDR. its so funny watching these kids with chains and black make up and spikey green hair play while their fishneted girls watch. thats actually how i first kinda got into it. i was like "it must be fun if all these people wanna make themselves look like idiots" so i bought it. teehee

OMG. How could I have missed this thread?! I LOVE DDR! My friend still hasn't picked up my copy of DDRMAX2 yet. But then again, I need a new pad 'cause me and my friends stomped it to death already. It's all stretched out and stuff, lol. I'm thinking of buying an Ignition pad, or tinkering with the one I have; the Metalpad is way too expensive right now.

Korn, don't be a sad panda just 'cause your friends don't like DDR. They probably don't like it for the fact that, yes, we do look silly playing it, and they don't want to risk humiliating themselves. It's actually a lot of time and work to make up dance routines for DDR. Well, for me, that's just time I don't have; I'm just glad that can survive heavy mode now. Now if you go to some sort of convention or tournament, it's fun to watch ppl actually dance to the songs.

I just don't dance too much with my feet really. It's more like my feet just slide around on the ground....I just can't do that DDR stuff.

Goths and shoegazers are worlds apart. Shoegazing gave rise to My Bloody Valentine. Goths are retards. Shoegazing is pretty well over with now, anyway.

Shoegazing was a musical genre in the 1980s so called because the performers had an absolute lack of energy and stage vitality. They would stand in place, sway listlessly from side to side, and, quite literally, gaze at their shoes. It sounds ridiculous, but My Bloody Valentine is absolutely incredible.
