Well I'm about 20hrs in and I'm about half way through chapter 2 dungeons.

The invention ideas and making part of the game is driving me round the bend but I can't get enough. I've just built the Aquarium and stuck in a few fish.

I have to confess to taking a sneaky peek at the walkthrough for early chapter one and I can't believe all the stuff I've missed!!

I think I'll be regretting buying it soon as I've got loads of college work to do but I just can't put the controller down!

you speedy bastard.... im 98 hours in now.. im on chapter 6 ( i think)... just come across Griffin (whoa...)

anyway, yeah... good game eh?

I found out thats its pretty different from the American Dark Cloud 2, as well!! lots of things have been added, taken away.. enhanced and dumbed down for the UK, which im quite happy about.

I just won my first fish race.. Im sooo happy.

anyway, now I have lures... and I cant fish with them to save my life!.. its all practice, I guess.

I haven't done anything else with the aquarium except stick fish in. Don't know what I'm supposed to do now though!

I like the bits that they've 'adjusted' from DC1

1) The fish no longer rot while in your inventory
2) The items add up in one slot as opposed to each item taking up a slot each.
3) Your weapons no longer break when they reach zero points.

The picture taking can be a bit fiddly (It took me ages to spot the wheel in the Bar) and I've noticed that the 3 active items you can carry do not automatically get used like they did in the first game which I can find a little annoying.

I an struggling with the conditions for the georama. I don't know how to go about fulfilling the requirements but I guess I'll get the hang of it eventually.

How do you use the poison you carry around?? I was hoping you could use it like a bomb or apple but it doesn't seem to work. Is it just for synthesizing?


I thought it was funny in a 'pain in the arse' sort of way that I took lot's of pictures I would have liked to have kept but didn't have the space and THEN I found the photoalbum...:STFU:


I'm going to try and spend some time building my weapons up more then take another look at the Georama stuff...

I'm now 22 hours in and have just passed through the Sun exit in Dungeon 2

Taken some new pictures and have started to build Sindain.

don't worry about the other exits for now... you wont need to go through them, and even if you did.. you cant.


im now on chapter 7, and getting quite bizarre!

with your fish tank and fish... start feeding them bait. you have started the tank quite early, which is a good thing! so start feeding the fish and get them strong in all areas.

I concentrated on one fish to get strong, and that won me the fish race... plus you can monitor its progress better the fewer fish you have.

and get fishing! build up your rod and cast across the lake!


the story gets stronger the deeper in to the game you get... class game....

..... you can throw the items like bombs and fire stones and poison by pressing triangle over the object and dragging it to the three spaces by the picture of Max or Monica... then press 'X' and use it like your camera.. so in a fight use digital left/right and square to fire.


you know about getting people to join your team? if you get the spiky haired person from the train to join... go in to menu screen, select character, select that new person... and get him to make you bombs.. then put him back on the train. if you take the train driver with you while going through the dungeons, he will give you more items per kill/chest I think.. everyone does something different!
