need for speed underground

I was just wondering if anyone here was gonna get this game. To me it looks awesome...great looking screenshots, fully customizable cars ( you can even pop the hood and show off all the crap you put into the engine), it is even online for PS2. Personally I'm looking forward to this one and I don't think I am the only one.

too arcade like for me. NFS:HP2 was online, and was a joke imo.

Too many ricers for me. I want a game with muscle cars. Now that I'd buy.

I loved HP2.. what a game! fantastic...

but I have a problem with underground... the graphics don't look as nice as they did with HP2. maybe its the still screen shots? but I have seen it moving and it didn't blow me away.
though, i have read an interview with the guy who worked on it, and he reckoned that once you hit nitro, the sensation is like nothing you have exp before! far better than Burnout... but then I guess he would say that.
anyway, I found the cars in MC2 hard enough to handle with the nitro.. so if they go faster in underground... surely it will be twice as hard to handle, and who wants that?

I think we should leave midnight racing to Midnight Club.

but ill play it before I bury it..
