the SEQUEL, is the MMORPG. Where the true threat is revealed. The mastermind behind all the evil in your little gaming world. ME...I created the first threat, and in turn, I create the following threats. I control them, I am the villain, And I am ever-changing.

since this is the perfect game, and is totally fantasy, it therefore can have the PERFECT PLAYERS. In theory making it a good MMORPG, because it has players you can rely on to make a great gaming experience.

Yes but yet again you rely on people, and you rely on people having the internet.

You cannot do this like that, Online games usually do not have a story as developed as non-online games.

Not only do you rely on people, sometimes you also compete against them making you want to be better and stronger and not caring for the story.

Also online gaming may have lag if it's with 56k and this might annoy someone and they can't play the game normally, and if you don't have 56k then that's like more then 70% of people maybe even more then 80%(hell i don't know exactly correct me if i'm wrong) of the people in the world that cannot play the game since it's broadband only. Then that's another downside on why it cannot be considered the greatest game.

Also what if all of a sudden a person you played the story with all of a sudden jsut didn't feel like playing the game no more, then you owuld have to introduce yourself to a new person.

It gets annoying to do this and i do not want to rely on people for my story to develop. Not everyone is so nice online, there are many *******s that cheat and start talking stupid shit that piss you off and you don't want to play with them.

ONLINE games no matter what genre can never be considered the best games ever.

Amd just because past MMORPG have weak storylines, doesn't mean mine would.

Look at all the people who would be involved in creating this MASTERPIECE.

Besides all of that...if you weren't interested in the fantasy aspect of it...you would STILL have all of the best sports games online in ONE GAME.

You would also have the ability to set up street races with cars that handle like gran turismo, with all the tuning and stuff in there....plus I'd add in the ability to paint your car any way you wanted by hooking up a USB art pad....(don't know their tech name....the electronic pen and pad.)

It would be ANY GAME YOU WANTED IT TO BE.

how is that not the best?

Well then it wouldnt be one best game, it would be many best game depending on the person.

What i'm trying to say is that it must be 1 game with 1 story which everyone plays and sees the same thing.

it's not considered the best game game if the game depends on what the person sees as the best game.

I must concur. Voice's idea is the only way u'd be able to make a perfect game. That's becuase everyone thinks differently. One person might think that the perfect game has to be a sports game, or an fps. Voice's idea allows the user to do whatever he feels like doing, thus creating the perfect game for everyone. Great idea voice.

Unless somebody's idea of a perfect game is an online title where they can cause havoc and disrupt everybody else's fun. You can't cater to annoying little idiots like that AND other gamers.

What if somebody wanted to play as a FPS and charge into the middle of the skate park and shoot all the skaters there? The skaters don't want to be shot, but the shooter thinks it would be perfect if he could invade their area and shoot them.

What if somebody wanted to play a RTS game, build up a big army equipped with guns, planes, tanks and missiles and invade fantasy land, blowing up all the castles and shredding the knights in a hail of gunfire?

You can't make a game that pleases everybody, because some people would want something that conflicts with something other people want. You'd either have to let everyone run free and end up with the idiots running the place as ordinary gamers leave in their droves, or fill it with restrictions to stop people abusing the system, which automatically stops it being what some people would want it to be.

But you forget, there will be players that want to be cops or military that want to protect the people. So then you have a sort of defense system within the game that has been created by the gamers themselves. This way you have your own little reality. Come to think of it, that would be friggin awesome.

And these people are going be great enough in number to be able to patrol every area of the game with a large enough force to counter any threat, without intruding upon the people there just to have fun? Spending a few hours patrolling one of the game zones on the offchance that there will be trouble doesn't sound like many people's idea of a perfect game.

Anyway, by having people there who exist just to stop people causing trouble means that the game isn't perfect for the people who just want to cause trouble. Then there would be people coming to the cops/military with false complaints, forcing them to intefere with gamers who haven't actually done anything, or people goading others to attack them so that the victim ends up being punished.

Regardless, I don't want to argue over this, it's only a fanciful discussion after all. I don't like online titles in general and I would never consider a multiplayer-focused game perfect, but obviously there are plenty of people who do.

I really wouldn't call this arguing, but whatever.

Anyway, i just thought of this: I can't remember the last time I saw a game on the shelf where the point of the game was ruining people's fun. So technically, it wouldn't matter if those people liked the game or not, cuz that sort of game doesn't exist. But if you really wanted to, you could make a section where people can go and just pop eachother with whatever weapon they can find.
