I had time crisis and the guncon for psx. they came together.

I never even saw ads for die hard trilogy 2....was it any good? I loved the first one.

it took us a while to get the light guns out, and there was a massive slow down in production and such because of 9/11 i believe. i remember i read that the silent scope people were thinking about making their games come out with light guns. also, there was something about resident evil making a light gun game which was postponed i believe. maybe they just didnt release the RES thing w/ a gun... i dunno. something like that.

Dillon, to the best of my understanding, we have always been *allowed* to have Light Guns, despite countless boycotts and attempted boycotts by groups of video game ducks, shooting targets, zombies, terrorists, aliens, and Senator Joe Lieberman. It's just that not many people buy them or the games they support anymore. Hell, when the dreamcast launched, HOTD2 would have been a killer app, if SEGA had released a first party light gun. Alas, they did not for obvious financial reasons. And so goes the recent history of the light gun in the good old US of A.

you see, back in the old days you hear this stuff, and you have to either believe or not to believe.. if the magazines report something then the chances are its correct as we didnt have internet back then to check up on the facts, well we did but none of us were on it.

so now I ask the people who it was meant to affect, and the answer is.. they tried to ban them, but couldnt...

a lot like many games. im glad they didnt ban them as it would make zero sense to sell real guns and then not to sell light guns.


as for light guns, Ive never seen a better gun than the Gcon, but saying that it doesnt work on my TV.. but im not sure if thats the gun or the game..
