Default I want my Castlevania NOW Dammit!

Seriously, I'm tired of waiting. I know the game is finished from watching endless footage at GI's new site. I also know the release date if the end of October (grrrrrr... dammit). Its just painful to make me wait on this game. It looks like SOTN in 3D.

BTW, does anyone know if the environments are part of one cohesive whole (ala the castle in SOTN) or levels that are themed, albeit cohesive also (ala Super Castlevania IV)?

One thing has me puzzled though; Where are the whip effects? Remember the various whips from CV2? Man that would have been so cool to see that in 3D.

They've clearly said that this game isn't structured like SotN, as they are focusing on the dynamics of the game as opposed to level design for this first 3D incarnation.

I'm still unsure which of Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden I will buy. Both look similarly delicious.

I'll take Castlevania anyway. I'm not a very big Ninja Gaiden fan. The new one looks pretty interesting though.
