There's a Japanese movie called Parasite Eve?

They're showing this Japanese movie on Showtime called Parasite Eve. Some organization is planning to wipe out humanity. It was released in 1998...is it based on the game at all?

Yea I think its based on the game series and its been on showtime like 50 times,I have yet to watch it.

I believe its suppose to take place before the first game and is suppose to have some connection to it. I'm not sure though. Is it any good?

I do remember hearding that. What I also remember is something in the novel is suppose to lead to the events in the first game. Something about the doctor mentioned in the game, and little girl.
