Default Worms 3D Demo

Download it here.

Anybody else tried this? I wasn't sure how well the 3D would work for these games, but it actually feels quite natural. Despite the extra dimension it still feels like a Worms game, and being able to switch to a first-person view for firing the guns is pretty neat. It's going to take some adjusting to, but it's still looking pretty good. I'm useless at the long range bazooka/grenade attacks at the minute though, everything ends up splashing harmlessly into the water

lol, I was really shit at that anyway, which was that funniest bit of worms...

the bit when you were passing around the pad and you accidentally had your finger on the 'X' button... ooops

or you just meant to tap it and ..aarrrgh.

love worms.

I can imagine the graphics would be like the FMV scenes in the PS1 games... cool. well, ive seen em, and they do look cool. i just hope they move well too.

I was actually impressed with how much it still felt like Worms. It doesn't feel like the 3D is just something they've done to breathe new life into the game, it actually plays like the next step in the series. It's harder to hit other worms with any weapon that requires some skill put into the shot, but that can make it more fun when your missile goes flying up into the air and lands nowhere near where you were aiming. Probably wouldn't be as good against computer opponents though, they'd kill you with accurate grenade throws and bazooka shots while you're busy accidentally raining shots upon your teammates...
