I know I know.. I said pretty much that of CM3, but I still think that CM3 is better than WRC2 (technically better).

but CM4 almost wipes CM3 from your memory, everything is improved. No longer are you Colin and no one else, so.. more cars to drive, the graphics have been totally overhauled, and theres enough modes and mini games a plenty.. instead of none.

The playability and Gameplay of the whole driving exp is way different from CM3. the cars feel heavier and as now you can drive 2wd and 4wd cars in different rally's, the cars act differently too.. you can actually feel all four wheels on your Subaru gripping and churning in the mud and gravel, not to mention the option to make your own rally up...

one of the most impressive things is the damage. when you drive on 'Normal' setting, the damage is limited.. when you drive on 'advanced' you get more realistic damage.. but there's a third level, only obtainable by the elite. and that is if you complete and win 'Advance' in the Colin McRae view.... then you get the next level of driving, where the damage is as it would be on a real car in a real rally.

we're giving that a go now, but its tough getting used to left hand drive... but getting there!


I wonder how WRC3 will respond, cause this is a damn fine rally game.... best yet, imo. If you like Rally games, you might just like this one..




oh and Conflict D Storm2 is bloody good.. nothing really different, a few touches here and there... hasn't lost any credibility though.. and that's the important thing.

The biggest thing that I can complain about is that you cant turn your windscreen wipers on when you want to... lol


what a game!

just completed the 2WD in Colin McRae view... after a whole championship, you cant go back to any other view.. its just the nads. Though its a shame you cant turn slightly left or right as you can in real life, but hey ho...
