If they can make Live more of a simulation and less ardadey, then I'll have to check it out. But my money is still on Sega to own the basketball games this season.

I recommend you check out the new interview with Vince Carter and the 10 new videos of the game in action over at ign. Those videos look fresh man. Seriously, I can notice a large improvement over last years title, anything from the motions of all the players from the new motion capture, to the authentic arenas (evident in the videos) to the new awesome announcing team of Marv Albert and Mike Fratello. It's almost like you're watching a TNT NBA game telecast! This game seems to be way more simulation like than 'arcadey' than last years. Check it out.

I have yet to play a Basketball game on PS2 besides NBA Street.....But on PS1 NBA Live was the game that I just couldn't put down.

Basketball is my favorite sport. And NBA Live always seemed to bring the feeling of it in perfectly.

I guess I will rent them both and see which is better, As I have played a sega basketball game on Dreamcast and I loved it...
