GTA: SA for PS2?

Has anyone got any info on Grand Theft Auto San Andreas?
Is it going to be on the PS2?

Doesnt look like were gonna get the 3rd installment 1 year after Vice City like we did with that 1 year after GTA 3 ( if that makes sense

) as this time last year we knew a lot about the up and coming Vice City.

well... dont discount it yet.. Rockstar could always turn around and say "next month you'll get GTA:SA"... but I doubt it,

with this new contract that Sony has thought up.. GTA4 will be a timed exclusive.. no mention about GTA:SA, but thats obiously not GTA4 cause they said that GTA 4 would have a whole new game engine.

But Spong did report that GTA4 was being made for the PS2, and not the PS3.. but they do talk shite every now and again.

thing is.. is their time being taken up with project Manhunt?

not that I mind, cause im getting that anyways, but it would be nice to know that theyre puttinbg in some effort in to the next GTA wether its SA or GTA4...

I suppose it's possible they want to time the GTA:SA with the release of the GTA titles on the X-Box.

lol, that means it will be this year before Xmas...

I hope so.. what a happy happy Christmas that would be.

but I cant help thinking it may be a less bloody Xmas than one would of hoped.

though, IF manhunt gets released.. that may not necessarily be true..
