Lament of Innocence is THE best Castlevania game ever made. I never much cared for the franchise, but LOI had me captivated at E3.

I can guarantee you that PSXE will have two reviews of this game for your reading pleasure, because no matter what Arnold says, I am doing a second review after he publishes his. I love this game THAT much.

I just hope it's not too reminscent of DMC (not a fan of the game). However, despite the similarities, it seems a little more fluid than DMC.

Since so many games drop right in that mid October to mid November range, it will be well worth waiting to see if Amazon makes their buy 2 get one free offer, i really did well with that last year, actually made money on it...

I never thought I would see the day when someone accused DMC of not being very fluid. The game oozes fluidity. So does LOI.

There are a lot of similarities in presentation between the two games, but LOI has a whole different 'tude, quite reminiscent of the series, that sets it apart.

Well that day has yet to come, because I never said it wasn't fluid, I merely said LoI seems more fluid to me (with the backflips and all that).

Ive been a Castlevania fan since the NES versions and the Castlevania IV was a incredible gaming experience for me. That and the addition of Dracula X for the Turbo Duo and my gaming experiences with that franchise have been very high. Unlike most, i was actually disappointed with certain aspects of the PS game...
