Wondering?

I was wondering if sony or any of it's affiliates were thinking about or coming out with a game having to do with the WPT? (world poker tour) Since this is the hottest thing out right now there should be some thoughts on this. Online capabilities would also be a added bonus with this.

First, I don't know about the WPT being "the hottest thing out there" right now. Poker is poker is poker, and there really isn't a high demand for commercial coverage of this particular activity.

As for games based on the WPT, nothing is in the works right now, and I wouldn't expect anything any time soon. It's entirely possible that we may see a budget title based on poker in the future, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Actually poker on TV is getting huge ratings right now. I've actually found myself watching the World Series of Poker quite a bit, and I have to say, it's pretty addicting. I don't think it'd make that great a game, but I wouldn't be shocked to see one.

If sony ever released a web browser for PS2... I sure wouldn't mind seeing some mini games such as this included. I think that would be pretty fun actually.

It is addicting to watch, while in Cali., I was watching it with my uncle and we were shouting and hollaring over it.

Definitely a blast to play, video poker has always been one of my favs...

great programme.

did you see that programme that followed the Devil fish around the world when he played that season? very interesting... much money changing hands.

living out of a bed-sit one day and out of a 5 star hotel room the next.... and he has a family to support...

you have to be a very confident person to lead that sort of life style and to drag your family through it too...
