What is the Best FPS for PS2

I'm looking to buy one that i will be able to keep....I bought Red Faction and beat it....and after that i never wanted to play it again.

is Return to castle wolfenstein any good?

Can't really speak as to it's replay value, as I've only just recently beaten it.

Actually, the only action games that I've ever replayed are Syphon Filter (1, 2, & 3 - those games are awesome) and MGS (1 & 2, although I never finished either of these the second time...)

I would be interested to hear everyone's opinions on Return to Wolfenstein; Wolfenstein 3D is basically the game that got me into games again (following my NES days).

Really i just wonder how the framerate is....and how the animation and AI are......

It LOOKS really good....

I've actually never played a medal of honor game...so maybe i'll rent that one.

Red faction 2 ( I personally really like this one)
Medal of Honor: Frontline (D-day kicks ass)
Deus Ex (good single player, but no multiplayer

)
Timesplitters
Timesplitters 2 (love this game)
Half-life
Unreal tournament
Mace Griffin: bounty hunter
James bond: Nightfire (not agent under fire)
These are some current ones that are pretty good-awesome.

FPS's to look forward to
Killzone
Half-life 2
Metal gears solid 3 (if you count that)
And there are some I didn't mention or forgot

Psm rated Return to Castle wolfenstein pretty low so I don't recommend it but if you are a wolfenstein fan go for it

well...i'm actually i flamethrower fan...and i saw a screenshot of a guy running around on fire after getting torched.....so yeah.

also i am a wolfenstein fan....

oh....and red faction i guess would've been cool...but i'm in kansas and i don't know anyone here....and i don't really want to either....so no two player.

if you like flame.. Timesplitters 2.. but thats more a multiplayer game.

MOH is amazing, but its a real WWII thing going on.. far better than Castle W.. tho that is a cool game. Castle W is a solid FPS.. but its no master piece.

RF2 is great.. its relentless.. and mad as ****.. love that game.. very cool.

If Mace Griffin is out in the States.. that sa good game! fantastic sniping!! but only one player

WarHammer 40k ..I liked that game, Ive only played the first couple of levels on a beta demo, but some mags have reviewed it and said its a bit pants... you fall in to pits a lot.

Like Linkin... I would say Red FAction 2 as its all out war, very cool and a great multiplayer.

if you want atmosphere then MOH is the baby for you.. its got that by the bucket load.

shit.. pick em both up!!

I think right now i will pick up Medal of Honor....

but in the near future....I'm going to get XIII. Because that game looks like it'll be the KING of all FPS games.

XIII is going to be great, it has real style.. few people are playing the Beta on the PC, they love it.. tho its all in French at the moment.

good choice on MOH...

But after you have finished it, you should get RF2.. its a really good FPS, way improved over FR1.. and like I say its a killing spree. brilliant.

but MOH... I didnt pick the game up for way over a year, I was expecting it to go down in price, but it never did. So I paid almost full price for a 2nd hand copy... as soon as I played the first level I could see why this game hadnt gone down, its pretty fkg amazing.

anyway, MOH Rising Sun will be with us by Xmas.. so you better get yer sniping boots on!

oh yeah....medal of honor definately looks like the game for me.....I like realism in my FPS games...it gets me more involved in the hunt.

I think the coolest thing about XIII that i've read is that when you shoot through a window....you can pick up a shard of glass and throw it into a guys face and kill him with it....now THAT IS COOL.
