That's my point; the improved graphics will require more memory space than the PS2 games, meaning they'll have to figure a way to pack more on a DVD or use multi DVDs

That's a pretty good point, but multi-DVDs wouldn't have worked well at all for GTA3 or VC. Sure, they could have increased the graphic quality if they had used more than one DVD, but it would be a pain in the arse to have to change discs when you want to drive over the bridge.:annoy:

I heard that the PS3 will use the blue laser disc thing for there games. It can hold over 20 or 40 GB or something I think. I would think that would be enough space to fit one game on a disc. Maybe they would have to be like a PC and install some of it on the hard drive if the games get too big.

thats why sony has the video game market locked up if nintendo &xbox don't do the same thing they will be in trouble i like the idea you can still play all the killer games from PS1 &PS2 on the
PS3 thats why sony is #1 console in the PS2. and the PS3 will be killer can't wait
