Ikaruga is an extremely addictive game, make sure to beat Prime before you buy it.
I was playing Ikaruga and Prime all day when i got them. The best games for NGC: Metroid Prime Ikaruga Resident Evil Mario Golf (I thought it was fun) Then well i guess that's it, unless i'm forgeting something.

I love Ikaruga. I beat it a few months back and unlocked infinite continues. The black/white gameplay is ingenius and the soundtrack rocks! Even when you beat it, there's still plenty of reasons to keep playing like high scores, extra modes and those super cool art galleries.
Oh, and the music in Prime does rock, Ryan. I love how they have classic updated themes on there, like when you first land on Talon IV.

Oh Reggie, you have no idea, my friend. You know how I love my Soul Calibur. I love th music in Prime ten times more.
I checked in with my boys at GF today, and apprently they will sell me Ikaruga for only $23 because it moves so slow they will give it to me at cost. God I love this store. The only place in the area where players can find Madden and GTA, but they ignore the lesser hits so that people like me can snare them for pennies. I plan on getting Ikaruga soon, along with Eternal Darkness. Any other recos? For the record, NO, I am NOT interested in Wind Waker. Do NOT push that shit on me. Other titles welcome, but keep that gayness out of my face. EDIT: Note to self- stop posting when drunk. End note. |

I played Ikaruga, actually rented. I could have never forgiven myself if I had bought it.

Wow Ryan. It never ceases to amaze me how much you love Prime. You like the music better than SC? Now there is a shock to the system. You must have high hopes for Metroid Prime 2.
I recommend Super Mario Sunshine. An enjoyable platformer. Classic gameplay and it getters harder as you get further into the game.

I might check out Sunshine, but I don't know. I wasn't terribly impressed with it when I played it at E3 two years ago. We'll see. If I can get a deal on it, I may just check it out. Any other recommendations? I will actually probably get SC2 for the Cube as well, and I know that Star Fox and Eternal Darkness are highly acclaimed as well. |

Wind Waker is a much better game then Sunshine. And i'll be the one to say it although not one of the best games Nintendo has ever made you should check out Wind Waker as for Sunshine i wouldn't waste my time, i still can't believe i beat the game.
Go check out Wind Waker, you don't have to buy it, atleast give it a rent. F-Zero will be coming out shortly and i hear that game will be ****en awesome, i'll be picking up a copy as soon as i get some money, right now i've got Madden and Soul Calibur 2 to play. EDIT: Star Fox Adventure wasn't all too great, i'd rather play the 64 version where i don't have to move on land by foot. I'm getting the SC2 for both PS2 and Cube, i've played the Cube demo and although the controls were a little weird i got used to it.

F-Zero GX. I picked up my copy today and I have to say, I'm impressed. It is a tight game. Smooth controls, tight music and some of the most slick visuals I've seen on the GC. Just know that after the first two circuits, this game's difficulty jumps through the roof. So if you Ryan, or anyone is looking for a serious challenge, then GX is your game.
