Yes, my expectation was met with ICO, my favorite game made for the ps2.

Short, but sweet it is, originally designed for the ps... Fatal Frame was what did the number for me, and its soon to be released sequel is highly anticipated. I believe Castlevania LOI could be a masterpiece in the making...

Yes.

The current state of the PS2 market is exactly as I would have expected, besed on the run that the PS had.

It's still my favourite ps2 game, by far. And definitely in my top3 this generation.

As far as the question goes, no not really. Not yet. I expect it probably will overtime (with GT4, and Castlevania, and FFXII, and MGS3) - but as of now, no.

yes...

I have the same feeling of awe everytime a 'great game' comes out as I did in the mid/late life of the PS1.

remember when you first saw GT1... it was the same feeling when I saw GT3... and when I saw the moving shots of GT4... well, need I say anymore?

ill shut up then.

Definitely surpased my expectations. I was sure that it would be a great system but I thought it would only have sequels and nothing original that would be spectacular. I was wrong. Original games that I like: Ico, Ratchet & Clank,Jak & Daxter kingdom Hearts etc...

No, not yet. But the console is certainly growing on me, so who knows how I'll feel a year or two down the line...

Yes, it has. When one of mine broke, I even bought a new one. I probably won't even get a PS3 until it's been out for a few years because there's too many PS2 games to play.
