Default Aynone here play counterstrike?

I just started playing it a little more here lately. It's pretty fun if you find a good server.

I dont play on public servers anymore. Once in awhile with a friend or at a LAN but usually I just scrim and play in league. www.caleague.com
For who dont know a scrim/match is a 5 on 5, designated teams. You go 24 rounds. 12 on T side and 12 on CT side. Its alot more fun since its 10x as challanging and you have to use tons of teamwork and stratagies to win. Basically first to win 13 rounds wins. Its only on de_maps.

The diff leagues for counter-strike are (you move up/down depending how you did in the season).
cal-open (most people who play pubs will stuggle in this)
cal-intermediate (most cal-im players would be the guy going 30/5 on a pub)
cal-main (best of the best, the freakishly good players)
cal-invite (these guys are much better than the freaks, crazy!)

There are 4000 clans(consisting of 5-10 people) in cal-open and like 30 clans in cal-invite. Many of the cal-invite players are looked upon almost like moviestars.

Many of these clans(Main+) do LAN and tourniments. Some tournaments giving out as much as $100,000 to the winning team. So its these guys life. They are Professional CS players.

Just a look into this bizaar world!
