LOL, what is nintendo thinking?

IGN has now reported that the next game in the Donkey Kong series will be a music game!!!

I swear, i'm keeping my ps2 and dropping the cube. Man that system is starting to suck badly.

seriously, the only games I've played on gamecube that I could see myself playing more than twice were super smash brothers melee....and Mario Sunshine....

if they would've made a super cool donkey kong country game for gamecube, it could've saved the system again.

pikmin kept me interested for like.....an hour.

that was original though, i will give them that.

but i will never forgive nintendo for completely destroying the legend that is metroid.

IMO Metroid Prime is great, and I like the idea of them making MP2 optional between third and first person.

It should've been third person in the first place.

I hated the control for Prime.....everything was wrong....I hated the curve on the screen that the visor made, I hated the stuff splatting onto the visor and making it impossible to see, the control in the ball mode SUCKED.....

It's a sloppy FPS.

You know, I've had my GC for quite a while and the only game I have is Zelda and the only reason I've kept that for so long is because of the bonus disk as I was quite dissapointed with the new one. I've played and loved every zelda game on every Nintendo system and it pains me to say it was not very good.

I'm really trying not to ditch my GC but it's becoming increasingly difficult.......

Now this seems like good news to me actually. I've been desperately wanting a music game for my GC for the longest time and now I may get it. I own every single music game on PS2 besides Unison.

However, I remember hearing Nintendo say that they were developing a new Donkey Kong game, but it was going to be throught their internal studios at Nintendo, not a 3rd Party developer. I think this is just one of the Donkey Kong games in development and the music one by Namco is another.

I'd never get rid of my GC. I absolutely love it and play it all time but not as much as PS2. I'm getting Soul Caliber II for GC and I really want the RPG games Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle and Tales of Symphonia.

Well actually voice if you knew anything, you would know that nintendo intended MP to be that way. Most people that hated the game(like yourself) just cry about the controls. And if you would have read the previews, the game was intended to be that way from the begging.

As for hating the visor look, thats your opinion. The point of that was to make you feel like you were in the game.

And how did the control in the ball mode suck, you used one analog stick. It seems like you really didn't try the game. My god, with little nit picks like this, you must have a hard time finding games you like.
