its hard to go in to detail, but ill try....

you know the old resi games? that when you ran forward you kinda ran to the left..so you would be hugging walls? its like that.

also he turns very very quickly, so its not a nice smooth action, its quite sharp. you control Max like an FPS, so both sticks are used... so even though contol is weak, they did the best with it. I don't think these things ruin the game, but you should be aware of them before you buy.

I would say its plus points are the weapons... I did most of what I have played with a shotgun... reminds me a lot of The Hitman in that exit wounds thing going on... very cool.. very graphic.

loading times are average, and like I say, graphics are dated... but are fine.

I think personally, I would still buy this over Spyhunter if I had to choose between them. I can't comment on Test drive, as im not sure which one that is.

OK! Thanks. I'm at Max Payne website now, looking for something. You know me, before buying a game, I need to get all informations about it to see if its a great game. because I don't want to loose my money on bad games

go to http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/review/8892.html and look up the players reviews.... you will get a good sense of the game that way.

you will notice that many have given it 5/10 and others have given it 9/10 ... its good to compare and see why some people gave lower marks and so on....
