If I have my PS2 back before it comes out. I'll be buying it for my PS2 because it's the best for fighting games. And with Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 4, and Virtua Fighter 4. Now that is one fins fighting game list.

If I bought it, I'd get the GC version. Ps2 controller adapter = supremo gameplay on Cube.

I just got the demo for the Xbox version today and all I have to say is that the S controller doesn't make the game any better to control compared to the GC version. I'll admit that the Xbox version looked a little more detailed but the controls felt even worse. I'm definitely getting the PS2 version since that's the only controller I really like.

I think I'd rather pay $10 for better visuals/load times and no slowdown...

I just don't believe in ever buying 3rd party products and I heard those things don't work anyway. I heard that the slowdown in the PS2 version isn't noticeable. Plus, I find the PS2's loading times to be very quick although loading doesn't bother me. I normally find the Xbox loading times to be extremely long compared to my PS2.

AK... what level you at on SC2? are you still slashing yer way through, or you moved on?

ill be interested how far people on this board will take it.

im just been fighting for no other reason but to get a level now.. I cant spend my money, and now (i think) I go up a level every 500,000 exp points.... which is a long slog, but somehow seems worth it.

just thinking... When SC2 is released, we should have a rank post (try saying that fast..lol) and then we can see how everyone is progressing.... first to prove that they are at lev 99... wins something....?

I know its a bit lame, but its just an idea...

I haven't played SC2 since.

Also, what are you talking about? Slow down? Never seen any.

there is slight slow down for the PS2 version, but in order to see it you have to be absolutely thrashing each other with quite big weapons, its not bad by any means. in fact im not surprised that AK hasn't noticed it, as you only see it now and again, usually after playing for hours and hours.

I have heard similar things about the GC and Xbox versions, but for some reason the slow down seems worse on those consoles, but im sure its probably the same. I have played the GC version, and there was slowdown right from the first match there, but after the first few fights I didn't notice any at all.

I have to agree about the controllers though, the PS2 pad rules. imo, I think that Soul Edge was made with the Playstation controller in mind, so now we have SC2... most of the moves haven't changed since the old days.. so as the PS2 pad hasn't really changed in shape, SC2 is almost made for the pad.

is there anyone here who has SC2? I would like to know what Level your on...

cheers..
