From playing both titles at E3, I found very little difference in visuals from last year in either game. However, that's usually the norm with sports games. Also, even if a publication states a game is more realistic that doesn't mean it automatically receives a better score. Granted I disagree with the contention that ESPN Football is more realistic, but overall value goes to Madden regardless. Either way, each person has their own opinion and little seems to change it. Each year I've given the 2K series a chance and each year I find it very arcade-like and awkward. For simulation I choose Madden; if I wanted a more arade feel I'd go with the new Blitz series.

well which one has better graphics??? Madden and they always will and thats what makes the game better no game can compete with madden and Ncaa in graphics

Um, no. NFL 2K2, 2K3 and ESPN Football look noticeably better than all Madden games.

That's a matter of opinion, I'd say that Madden looks better, although graphics are highly overrated. I couldn't give a shit less what a game looks like as long as the gameplay is great, and in the department Madden wins easily, at least in my book.

When both games are in your face: ESPN is the better looking game. Madden has failed to look any better since 2002.

This statement assumes you would be happier with a graphically superior game that fails in every other aspect than a game with inferior graphics that excels in every other aspect.

Print pubs are stupid.

EGM's review of the games was terrible. It took up about a quarter of a page, and basically they said they disliked the 1st person view. They mentioned that the playcalling menu was different. Then they gave it scores of 6.5 and 7 and 8 if I remember correctly. It seemed like they didn't even play the game, and if they did why waste all the time playing it if they aren't going to write about it? Ever since their new layout EGM has been a terrible magazine. Their reviews of VF4: Evo and Soul Calibur 2 sucked also. Completely useless magazine.

I like madden cause its got more of a real feel to it. Segas is too much of an arcade type football game. And if i'm wanting arcade type football, i'll wait for NFL Street.
