Has anyone here played Tiger Woods 2003? If so, did you like it and would you recommend buying it.
Thanks |

I've only played the demo to the game. I'm not a big golf fan but I had to say it was pretty good. If you like golf games, you should like it.
There should be other members here that will probably know more about the game than me.

As long as you're able to adjust to the analog swing (which is a bit more sensitive this time out), Tiger Woods 2003 is certainly worth the money... especially if you're a golf fan. There's more of everything that made Tiger Woods 2002 so great-- more courses, more unlockable characters, more single-player challenges, more commentary, and better-looking visuals.
With a general lack of new golf games recently (Disney Golf doesn't count), Tiger Woods 2003 leads the pack. Be forewarned, though: If you don't like-- or cannot get used to-- the analog swing, don't plunk down the money. The analog swing can be very challenging to learn, and it can be inconsistent. Also, the putting engine has not been improved... in fact, it's even harder than last year's game was. There is definitely a learning curve here, and it's bound to be at least somewhat frustrating in the beginning. If you don't like the analog swing, Hot Shots 3 will certainly do nicely. Have fun, and good luck with your buying decision.
