Still not interested in DC2. Too many games, and better games to play (not that I doubt that it is a bad game - but I have enough RPGs for the year).

I wanted to buy DC2 yesterday but the stores didn't have it yet. I've been aching for a new RPG and it sounds like DC2 fixed the problems I had with the first. I hated the first Dark Cloud when it came out and only recently bought it as a "greatest hits" title. I enjoyed it a bit more, but even still think of it as just being OK and nothing more. I wish they would have done more with the Georama feature. PLus the weapon breaking drove me insane with rage on more than one occassion.

The reviews claim that these issues have been addressed, PLUS the graphics are great and they added the element of time travel to power up your character. I can't wait to pick this up.

I'll admit that I'm was quite surprised about the game being really good. I just saw the commercial at 5 am and I liked it.

I definately want this game. I think PS2 now has its Zelda killer.

Do you still have to build the towns back up or is there something different?? Is it THAT much better than the first one because, although i didnt think it was a great game, it was still quite good.

Ico can't really be compared to Zelda. The gameplay elements are far too different to stand up against any comparisons, without looking obviously out of place or farfecthed. Dark Cloud 2's gameplay, on the other hand, can be easily compared to Zelda.

i thank Hermonyttt (stupid name) for bringing our attention to what i consider a formidable game, one that if you havent played and admit this fact in public, then a group of armour cladded warriors are despatched to your home where they force you to play it, til your palms bleed and your teeth drop out.

love tis game.... just wish i could express my love for this game to you, but i can only show you the tip of the love i have for this game..

..did i mention to you that i love this game?

well i dont..
