They're basically saying that Konami confirmed that a PS2 Castlevania is in the works. I've talked to Konami a long time about this, and I suggested that they use a 3D plane, but use a 2D perspective (think Klonoa 2, Yoshi's Story 64 and Tomba 2). I'm 100% certain that's what they'll use.

I'm not believing anything until I see screenshots.

...but it would be incredibly good news.

Well it's pretty clear Konami is in the sack with sony. The question isn't whether it will come out on the PS2 its when.

Yeah that would be the best way because the Castlevania 3d games released for N64 and so on were such garbage. The 2d based platform of a game is really nice.

I read about that too but I already knew Konami would put it on PS2. I know for a fact they would not put it on Xbox because Xbox fans have no respect for Konami and the game doesn't fit the GC's audience too well. PS2 is perfect for the game because it has the most classics being reborn anyway. Anyway, I've never seen Konami give decent support to any other system besides PS2 and GBA.

Nah, it's because the ps2 is where the audience is the biggest. For risky games, it's the safest platform, by a longshot.

And I don't see why it doesn't fit the GC's audience... I played the first CV when I was 8-9 years old. Isn't that the typical, stereotypical GC audience?

I wasn't trying to say the GC was targeted towards younger audiences which is not really true. What I meant was that most third party games don't sell very well on GC. The only third party games that I know that got some sales were Sonic Adv 2, Super Monkey Ball, RE, and RE Zero. However, I do agree that the PS2 is the safest platform.
