Because I find myself heading that way. I havn't gotten into a Nintendo game since Ocarina Of Time. To me nintendo has gone down hill in terms of quality.

I don't particularly like Nintendo, but I wouldn't say I absolutely hate the company. They make some pretty good first party games which are some of the only reasons to buy a Gamecube. I have to disagree with you that Nintendos quality is going way down. I think that the GC and it's first party games are of much better quality than the N64 ever was.

I agree with you, but what i'm basically saying is i would rather play the N64 games then there Gamecube versions. I like Mario 64 ten times better than Sunshine. The same goes for the Zelda games. I'm just a little upset with the newest first part titles they have released so far. I'm not saying there bad, they just didn't live up to my usually high standards.

It's not the quality of Nintendo's games, it is the quantity of games. Nintendo still makes some of the best games on the planet, but they've yet to realize they need more than one AAA title per quarter in order to compete. I mean, sure, Wind Waker might be the greatest thing since sliced bread, but that was pretty much it for Nintendo during the first quarter of 2003. During that same time, Sony got:
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Xenosaga: Episode 1 Dark Cloud 2 Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance The Getaway Amplitude Devil May Cry 2 Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, too. I know there are others. Nintendo has one, and only one problem- consistency. If they can learn to get more quality games out per month, they'd be in a lot better shape. |

I think their games are going down. They're all rehash. I like mario, but there shouldn't be 20 nintendo titles with him in it.
Oh and btw, Ryan you forgot Z.O.E. 2, one of the best robot games i've ever played. |
