I like the new focus on "old-school" b-ball. I also hope they add even more to the create-a-player mode. With the new multiplayer options, I think things should balance out nicely even without online play.

My favorite improvement over the first is that this one includes made up street legends like Stretch and Takashi, along with most of the greatest the NBA has ever saw. Here is the list of NBA legends inculded.

I think the background scenery should be interactive. For instance if you run the ball out you would have the stop before you ran into the fence or something like that.
It looks like EA Big has gone even more cartoony, like what Free Radical did with TS2, not saying that that's a bad thing.

Ya, I'll DEFINITELY be picking this one up. And yes, EA did stretch out the player models somewhat, who knows why. The video that IGN has up ROCKS, it looks like they got some realy AND1 moves in this game, boo ya! This game is looking pretty tight though, a definite buy.
