It (interference) is possible as the two work on the same frequency but can run on a multitude of channels contained in that frequency. I haven't run into any problems, yet.

I don't know if any of you have used XBOX live at all, or even Steam for that matter - but both of them are very streamlined and well interfaced and oriented when it comes to gathering and playing with people on a friend list, it has nothing to do with everyone having a mic. PSN just isn't there yet, and possibly Valve is wanting Sony to improve PSN's interface so they can begin to release games like L4D to the PS3.

i'd agree that PSN isn't there yet with a lot of features Live offers but PSN is at least making the effort to catch up, and there's a lot of things about Live I don't like especially after NXE which just seemed like a way to fit more ads on my dang dashboard lol

Usually for games like MW2 and other online shooters on PSN, the game will have the interface with friends list. Still using the PS3 friends list that is. Like in Burnout Paradise. with things like inviting a friend to play it willl pull up your friends list. And with music the same thing. So i still dont see what VALVe's problem is when they could just as easily implement things themselves. They are just scared of the ps3 and dont want to say so.

In what ways is PSN not there yet? Examples would be nice, I find it extremely easy to get a group of friends in game. For the record I have no experience at all with LIVE so I'm making no comment about it. But I find the PSN very easy to navigate and hooking up with friends to play Warhawk, SOCOM, Call of Duty, or hanging out on Home have never been an issue.
