lol!

I do hope Ben can kick the relevant ass and get this fixed asap. I never really realized how much an avatar meant before I lost mine. My comments just completely vanish without it!

Anyone else notice that this site is having all sorts of glitches during the past couple of days? Have they ever thought about upgrading it so that maybe the experience is say, better than 2006-7?

Yep, agreed. I'm finding the it quite shit right now too. I go to change my profile pic on the main site, in the User CP it shows that the pic I want to use has indeed been uploaded yet in the comments sections it still shows up as my old pic. It's a head scratcher. Other than that, I think the site needs a bit of an over haul but I can't honestly say I've come across anything else. Other than it needs a face lift. Which is more a cosmetic thing but long over due.

I think if they update the vBulletin to what everyone else is using then maybe things will work properly and not be so sluggish. I feel like I'm dial-up or in a time machine when I come here compared to many other forums. Does anyone maintain this place or was it left to rot?

They should upgrade to 3.8.x but to be honest the newer versions beyond that are terrible in a way that requires adjectives forbidden on this forum to adequately describe.

But yeah 3.7.x, which they're on now, is pretty balls. This forum lacks so much basic functionality it's not funny. No bottom-page navigation, no go-to-first-post, no self-sticky options, and I had to write out a step by step tutorial on how to enable YouTube embedding before that was accomplished awhile back.

Exactly. We don't even have a spoiler button here. It's a gaming site... without a spoiler button...
